WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Join Mark for a three-day intensive plein air workshop at the Lareau Farm Inn in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont. Students will watch Mark's demo each morning and then receive personalized one-on-one critiques of their work as they paint in the afternoon. The workshop is held on the grounds of the Inn for two of the days, with the third day being held on location at a nearby park in Waitsfield, looking out at an iconic covered-bridge over the Mad River. A car is not necessary as we always have carpooling options. There is no hiking in this workshop.
We will focus on creating an authentic and realistic sense of light in your paintings, specifically focusing on value and color temperature as a means to this end.
